Hong Kong is home to two world-renowned ships: the Whampooa Ship and The Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery. However, only few visitors know of the latter’s existence.
The Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery is a rare and fascinating tourist spot that offers insight into the classic history of fire services development and the challenges faced in the last century. Visitors can also appreciate the ship’s unique architecture, layout and rich historical flavour. The ship includes operation room, living & dining compartment, bedrooms, washrooms and The look-out tower. Also, there is a series of displays underneath the boat as you can learn more about the history of fire services in Hong Kong.
