Background Information: In 1988, it was opened in Shimbashi, Tokyo. When you go into the sushi bar, you can feel the comfortable and warm texture. The well-preserved sushi bar uses simple materials and textures, with dedication to every details. The polished granite sushi bar table touches customer’s heart, as an extension to communicate with the chef. The granite floor tiles and access doors match with the ambient atmosphere.

When you look up, there are two vaulted ceilings with diffusing the warming lighting, extending from the wall behind the bar. Another one is the use of acrylic sheet to diffuse lighting to the bar table. The sushi bar was built by Kuramata, with collaborating with Ishimaru Co., Ltd.
