行政長官在2018年施政報告中宣布，將在天水圍興建一個新公眾街市以配合居民的需要。在我們的設計中，我們在天秀路公園旁的空地建造了一個臨時市場，讓市民有一個購買新鮮食物的選擇。政府以創新方式興建及營運天水圍臨時街市，包括以「組裝與合成」縮短建造時間。 MIC 集裝箱用於零售商鋪。傘形鋼架結構為零售商鋪和公眾街市提供了庇護。集裝箱的綠色屋頂是在夏季降低集裝箱的室內溫度。建築結構微妙而簡單。

天幕街市用了一年完成建設。 就此，天水圍天幕街市建立了新的經營模式，迎合了市民的需要。 居民無須花費半小時的車程到天水圍市中心購買新鮮食物。

In our design, we build a temporary market in the open space next to the Tin Sau Road Park, giving the public an alternative to buy fresh food. It uses an innovative approach to construct and operate the temporary market in Tin Shui Wai, including the use of “Assembly and Synthesis” to shorten the construction period. The MIC containers are for the retail shops. The umbrella steel frame structure provides shelter for the retail and public market. The green roof is installed on the container for lowering the indoor temperature of the conatiner during summer. The architecture itself is subtle with simplicity.

The construction is completed in one year. In such, the Tin Shui Wai Skylight Market establishes a new mode of business and meets the needs of the public. So, the resident do not need to spend half an hour of the travelling time to the Tin Shu Wai Town Centre to buy fresh food.
