Lai Chi Yuen Columbarium is a newly constructed facility that provides approximately 800 standard extendable niches for the indigenous villagers of the Islands District or bona fide residents. Set amidst an enchanting garden with a viewing platform capturing breathtaking island views, this tranquil environment offers the ideal resting place. The memorial garden’s design emphasis centers on showing respect for nature, incorporating ample greenery. The use of high-quality granite materials and subtle cladding underlines the design’s elegance and meticulous attention to detail to blend in with the natural environment. With the inclusion of landscape viewing deck, it builds with a wide variety of vegetation covers and plantation. Also, the new furnance was built for burning the paper crafts for the pass-away.

As Lai Chi Yuen Columbarium is located in a remote area, the best options to arrive there are to take a New Territories Taxi or drive to the site (Have to obtain the New Territories Permit in advance). Please be mindful of the peaceful environment surrounding this serene memorial garden and show respect for the departed when you visit.
