蠔涌公廁翻新工程是西貢區議會的社區項目。翻新前的廁所正在惡化和油漆剝落。對於新設計，我們加入了無障礙設施，及添置了一個無性別廁所間，方便老年人和兒童使用。

廁所的整體設計風格簡約。它的外皮是優雅的木紋瓷磚，這在公廁設計中頗為獨特。洗手間內設有已翻新的屋頂，增強空氣流通，所有衛生設備都經過翻新並配備了自動傳感器。所以，當你到西貢蠔涌郊遊遠足時，也可以看看並使用這個設施。其低調簡約的建築設計是蠔涌村區的景點。

The Refurishment of Ho Chung Public Toilet is a community project for Sai Kung District Council. The original toilet before refurbishment was deteriorating and with peeling off paints. For our new design, we promote the accessibility for uesrs, in particular for the children and elderly. Also, an unisex toilet is added to cope with BFA requirement.

The overall design of the toilet is styled in simplicity. Its envelope is wrapped with elegant woodern tiles, which is quite unique for public toilet design. The new air-ventilated corrugated roof encourages wind going through into the washroom area. All sanitary fitments are refurished and equipped with automatic sensors.

So, when you go hiking in Sai Kung Ho Chung, you can take a look and use this facility. Its minimalistic architecture is an iconic spot for Ho Chung Village Area.
